Amazon Creek can provide guests who are staying in Corsica with a variety of horse-trekking experiences which are truly magical for everyone. Early morning canters along the beach, swimming with horses in the sea or leisurely strolls in the evening through the pine forests are perfect experiences for beginner and skilled riders alike.  For guests who enjoy a challenge, why not embark on a testing hack into the mountains along with an experienced guide. Horse riding at dawn is one of the most natural and truly exceptional ways to see the true beauty which Corsica has to offer.

Treks of differing lengths can be booked through Amazon Creek, rides can range from two hours to a whole day depending on your individual preferences.  If you’re planning on reserving a horse riding experience with Amazon Creek, please inform us as to whether you’re an experienced rider or not so we can organize the best individual trip for you.  During the heat of the summer, outings are usually limited to early morning and early evening.  Experienced riders also have the option of being able to trek over mountains and through rivers, a truly wonderful adventure in the summertime. For guests who are interested in any horse riding experiences, simply inform the Amazon Creek concierge team before your trip or your resort manager during your holiday. If you’re visiting Amazon Creek during a busy holiday period or with a large group, it’s recommended that you book before you arrive.

Vallee Blanche Skiing

Mont Blanc is home to the most famous off-piste ski descent in the world. This unforgettable off-piste experience starts at the top of the Aiguille du Midi before passing through the Mer de Glace and finishing in the centre of Chamonix. During this adventure, you will see the true beauty of the stunning high mountain scenery Mont Blanc has to offer. This is a breathtaking experience which many others simply won’t have the opportunity to experience. Whether you love to ski or snowboard, everyone is welcome. If you’re looking for an action-packed holiday adventure which you won’t forget, the Vallee Blanche skiing tour is a must! This is an ideal descent for a family of experienced skiers to complete together. Alternatively, if you’re looking for a truly unique activity for a group of friends this winter this really isn’t one to miss!

Every Vallee Blanche off-piste tour is completed under the guidance of an experienced guide who will ensure you receive the best possible service at all times. The guidance of the mountain instructors will ensure you navigate the mountain safely so you can concentrate on enjoying an experience which you’ll never forget.  If you’re interested in this exceptional skiing adventure, simply inform your concierge manager prior to your holiday. It could be possible to book the Vallee Blanche skiing experience during your stay during quiet periods, but we do recommend booking soon so you don’t miss out! For those who have not done much off-piste skiing, your guide will want to assess your level a day or two prior to your Vallee Blanche decent.

Climbing Mont Blanc with a private guide

Climbing Mont Blanc really is a once in a lifetime experience, and one which isn’t for the faint-hearted. This privately guided climb is a four-day experience, where you will climb the famous mountain under the guidance of your own personal mountain instructor. Your private guide will tailor the experience to your group's capabilities. In order to prepare for the ascent, the first two days are used for preparation and acclimatization to the mountain environment. While you’re adjusting your body to the low air pressure, you will visit one of the most famous glaciers in the area – Mer de Glace; which will leave you in awe.  During the first part of your climb, you will learn valuable climbing techniques which will be essential for the assent.

The third and fourth days will be spent making the famous climb to the summit of the Mont Blanc Mountain. Hot Air Ballooning over the Alps

For breathtaking views of the Alps, float away on a hot air balloon trip with a loved one or friends. The balloon tour will allow you to drift peacefully over the magnificent mountain range, providing you with unique views to enjoy in a peaceful and tranquil environment. Amazon Creek guests can enjoy a hot air balloon flight in both summer and winter months, depending on the weather conditions. Flights usually take to the skies in the morning between 7:30 – 9:30 am and typically last for around an hour and a half. It is not possible for small children to board the hot air balloon. This experience is tailored perfectly for a couple or small group of friends who are looking for a unique experience.
